The best way to determine your Left Field size is to measure a pair of jeans or chinos you already own and that fit you well, and then compare those measurements with the ones listed below. To get the most accurate measurements, lay your pants flat, with the front and back of the waistband level and pulled taut. Measure from the inside edge of the left side to the inside edge of the right side, then double that number and subtract one inch to account for stretch. The number you wind up with is the "actual waist" measurement.
